JETA Molecular ´s Digital PCR Markers Help to Detect cell-free DNA in Patients after Kidney Transplantation

The recently published study by the team of Dr. J. Verhoeven from UMC Rotterdam uses the panel of DigitalTRACE™ Assays to investigate the diagnostic value of donor-derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA) for the detection of acute kidney transplant rejection. The authors show that dd-cfDNA has a potential to serve as a minimally invasive biomarker that can reduce the need for a kidney allograft biopsy.
